- 600g chicken mince
- 1/3 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 spring onions
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp canola oil
- 1 slice mature Cheddar Cheese
- Combine 600g chicken mince; 1/3 cup barbecue sauce; 3 spring onions, chopped; and ¼ tsp each salt and pepper.
- Form into four 2,5cm-thick patties. In a 30cm nonstick frying pan, heat 2 tsp canola oil on medium; add patties. Cook for 7 minutes per side or until cooked through.
- Top each patty with 1 slice mature Cheddar cheese; remove from heat and cover frying pan to melt cheese. Serve on 4 wholewheat buns topped with thinly sliced green apple and micro-greens.
