Chocolate-dipped Macaroons

Recipe Ingredients

1⁄3 cup all-purpose flour

2 1⁄2 cups desiccated coconut

1⁄8 tsp salt

2⁄3 cup condensed milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

100ml white chocolate, melted

Recipe Directions

1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a large baking tray.

2. In a large bowl, stir together the flour, coconut and salt. Add condensed milk and vanilla; stir until well combined.

3. Drop batter by 1⁄4 cupfuls, 2,5cm apart, onto prepared baking tray. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until just golden on bottoms. Transfer to wire racks to cool completely.

4. When biscuits are cool, dip top halves into melted chocolate; let stand until set.

TIP You can use milk or dark chocolate instead of white.
