- 1½ tbsp butter
- 1½ tbsp flour
- 1 can Nestlé Ideal Unsweetened Evaporated Low Fat Milk
- 1 tsp salt
1. Melt butter in a medium pot, add fl our and cook over a low heat, stirring for one minute.
2. Whisk in milk and salt. Bring to the boil, lower heat and cook for five minutes, stirring occasionally until sauce has thickened.
3. The sauce is ready when it lightly coats the back of a spoon.
