Peel a clove of garlic, measure out 1 tin of chickpeas, 1⁄4 cup olive oil, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tbsp tahini, 1 tsp cumin and salt to taste.
Using a food processor or stick blender, purée all of the ingredients.
Dust with paprika and serve with pita
