Summer is a great time to experiment with fashion because there’s so much you can do. Bright colours and interesting shapes are a great way to celebrate the warmer weather and Trenery has come up with a genius idea: how to turn a silk scarf into a glamorous sleeveless top that can be worn day or night. Here’s how you do it, in three easy steps:

Lay two scarves together flat on a surface and tie a knot at each top corner. Place over your head, making sure the knots sit neatly on the shoulders.
Bring the two bottom corners of the back scarf to the front and secure with a knot underneath the front scarf.
Repeat in reverse, bringing the two bottom corners of the front scarf to the small of your back, tying with a knot and tucking the knot under the top.
And there you have it! One moment you’re holding a silk scarf, and the next you’re wearing a fabulously fashionable silk top. Voilà!
