‘It is an honour to be a spokesperson for such an iconic brand’, says Jourdan. ‘I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl and hopefully I can make people feel the same way I did when I saw the advertisements growing up. The brand imagery is always beautiful and positive. To now be a part of that is a dream come true!’
Jourdan is also an active campaigner and Parent Ambassador for the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America (SCDAA). Her 4-year-old son, Riley, suffers from Sickle-cell anaemia. Jourdan wants to bring international awareness to the disease and is working on a few initiatives to raise money for the SCDAA.
She also features on the cooking and lifestyle programme Well Dunn With Jourdan Dunn on Jay Z’s popular You Tube channel, Life and Times. The self-taught chef shows her love of preparing easy meals, bringing in celeb guests to assist her in each episode, adding to the programme’s appeal.
