The Good Housekeeping team planted a sustainable vegetable garden at the Yabonga Weltevreden Support Centre in Samora Machel

The Good Housekeeping team decided to plant a sustainable vegetable garden at the Yabonga Weltevreden Support Centre in Samora Machel in support of the 67 Minutes initiative. Yabonga is an NGO which supports men and women infected and affected by HIV/Aids. Yabonga provides care, education, support and skills development in order to empower men and women to live a positive and healthy live with their families, based on principles of positive living, personal development and income generation.
The GH team would like to thank Starke Ayres for their donations of compost and fertilizer, and urban farmer Matt Allison who showed us the ropes. He also brought along the seeds and seedlings to plant and promised that he would pop in at the Yabonga Centre to check on our crops.
