We used freshly ground coffee beans in the cafe mixture as well as the icing to give this classic combination a flavourful twist

Food-colouring paste gives these classics their red-brown shade. If you don’t have any paste, simply leave it out – liquid colouring won’t work in this recipe

These make-ahead marvels puff up in the oven, ooze a molten centre when served and are completely decadent

This unconventional cheesecake tastes fantastic – and slices easily

Polenta gives this cake a pleasing granular texture. If you have it, add a dash of limoncello to the icing for an extra kick
