Avo and rosemary can give your burger a health makeover



Topping your burger with avocado may not turn the grill favourite into health food, but research suggests it may help prevent inflammation and stiffness in blood vessels. Just be sure to use enough – about half a medium avocado. And if you want to show your heart even more love, tuck rosemary into your patty before cooking, advises lead study author Dr David Heber of the University of California, Los Angeles Center for Human Nutrition – the herb helps vessels stay flexible after a meal.
