Quick fixes for stress

You’ve just returned to work, but it already feels like you need another holiday

After a long and stressful day at work you want to just relax, but it’s not that simple, especially if you have a family to take care of. However, for the sake of your health, it’s important that you rest and unwind, even if it’s for only a few minutes.


Walk it off

If you live close to the beach or a lovely park, go for a 30-minute walk and experience the peace and quiet of nature. Or just go for a short walk around the block. The fresh air will do you good and the walk will give you time to think and to clear your head.


Soak it up

Draw yourself a nice warm bubble bath and have your favourite music playing in the background. Soak with a good book or a magazine, or pour yourself a glass of champagne. Forget about everything and everyone, even if it’s just for a while.


Take a break

Ask your partner (or kids) to prepare dinner for a change. Some of us find it difficult to delegate, but sometimes you simply have to sit back and let others do the work.
