Yoga for diabetes

Doing yoga on a regular basis can do a lot more than improve your posture

You’d expect yoga to keep you flexible and boost your mood, but there are many more reasons for doing the lotus position.


British National Health Service reviews show it may lower blood sugar, reduce the risk of diabetes and improve the outlook for people with the disease. It can also benefit heart health and help with carpal tunnel syndrome.


A slow hatha yoga (one of the two branches of yoga that focuses on the physical culture) class is best for beginners because some postures can cause injury if tackled without control.
