Purple will reign in 2014

Pantone, the global colour authority and provider of professional colour standards for the design industries, has announced the highly anticipated Pantone Color of the Year for 2014 – Radiant Orchid (18-3224).

Inspiring confidence and emanating great joy, love and health, the captivating colour is said to draw you with its alluring charm.

The colour is ‘an invitation to innovation’, says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. ‘Radiant Orchid encourages expanded creativity and originality, which is increasingly valued in today’s society.’
