Oliver Cole, bartender at Café Caprice, recently won Cape Town’s Round 2 Regional Finals of the Diageo Reserve World Class Bartender of the Year 2014, which means he has a chance at the world finals later this year. This is his winning cocktail, which he invented using Mystery Box items:
1 shot Talisker whisky
1,5 shots orange juice
0,5 shot sugar syrup/gomme (cooled)
0,5 shot Campari
0,5 shot Jasmine tea
Mix 1 cup sugar and 1 cup boiling water
- Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake.
- Fine strain into a decorative wine glass.
