1. Put the other parents at ease by sharing your plans with them. Make sure you have their contact numbers in case their kids want to go home or get sick.
2. Keep the guest list small! Six little girls doesn’t sound so bad in the day time, but when they are wide awake at midnight it’s a lot to handle.
3. Let your child suggest activities. They’ll have ideas of what games they would like to play and it takes some of the stress off you.
4. Don’t invite the kids around too early on the day or it will be too much for them – and you. If they arrive at dinnertime and leave at noon the next day, that’s ideal.
