3D Oreo Chalk Art


Take your kids to check out incredible 3D chalk art and stand to win a great hamper!


Oreo has partnered with Paramount Pictures for the global release of Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age Of Extinction, opening in South Africa on 27 June.


To celebrate, local artist Mak1One will create a 3D drawing of Oreo and Transformers characters.


To win the hamper, like the Facebook post.


The hamper includes Oreo products and four movie tickets, all valued at R350!

Kamers & CCDI: Trading at the Castle

Don’t miss this creative pop-up event, an official World Design Capital Cape Town 2014 project. Some 110 exhibitors will be showing and selling beautiful design wares, with a distinct focus on innovation.


There will be refreshments aplenty too, as well as live music.

Wine Installation

While you’re at the castle, pop in to well-known local designer Aidan Bennetts’s exhibition, The Story of Food – From Then To Now. Don’t miss the Zonnebloem installation, which uses 100 wine bottles and resembles a swathe of African grass reeds.

Durban Surf Carnival

Pack a picnic and head to the beach for the 12th annual Durban Surf Carnival.


There will also be a free surfing clinic hosted by Mad Dog Surf Academy and a free Snap Shot Photographic Competition, open to the public.
