Cape Town: Go-karting

 

Satisfy your need for speed while zooming around the track at Kenilworth Karting.

The 310-metre indoor track is a mini replica of Killarney and provides enough twists and turns to challenge any seasoned driver. Each of the 160cc karts feature hydraulic brakes to keep you racing safely. For younger drivers, the track also has 140cc GP junior karts. Close supervision of all racing is strictly maintained to ensure that no dangerous driving takes place. So moms, rest assured!

Don’t miss the African Renaissance Festival and Conference Africa Day Concert!

The African Renaissance Festival and Conference started 15 years ago in celebration of African unity. The concert, run during the festival on Africa Day (25 May), brings you amazing talent, and serves to include you in the celebrations.

Guests can look forward to seeing some of the biggest names on the SA music scene perform live. They include vintage-inspired Afro-pop crew Mafikizolo, Afro-soul star Lira, and kwaito star Mkhonzeni ‘Professor’ Langa. DJ and radio presenter Linda Sibiya will be hostess and MC.
