Make the last weekend of the school holidays fly by with these fun kids’ activities

 

Cape Town: Peter Pan Musical Show

 

Let your kids be transported to the idyllic childhood paradise of Never Never Land at the school holiday musical production of Peter Pan showing now at the Canal Walk Shopping Centre.

Here they’ll meet Peter Pan, his trusty sidekick Tinker Bell and the ready-for-action gang, the Lost Boys. Youngsters (and the young at heart) will be wowed by the imaginative scene changes, intricate puppetry and dazzling costumes of this first-class production.

Tickets for the show are available via Computicket online, Computicket outlets as well as at the ticket booth at the entrance. Children must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian. Seats are unreserved, so arrive early for prime spots.

22 June to 14 July

Shows take place from Tuesday to Sunday with three shows per day at 11am, 12:30pm and at 2pm

Cost:

R70 per person

Chidren under the age of one get in free of charge.

Durban: Adidas presents the Scream-O-Meter

 

Adidas and Disney Pixar have collaborated and developed a new range of footwear, apparel and accessories inspired by the new Monsters University animated movie currently on circuit.

To commemorate the launch, Adidas is inviting kids in Durban to test out the Scream-O-Meter – a device that allows kids the opportunity to scream to their heart’s content and stand the chance to win a Monsters University bedroom makeover, as well as other awesome prizes.

Bloemfontein: Family fun at the Vryfees

 

Volksblad and the University of the Free State invite all those who enjoy the arts to the annual Vryfees.

With about 160 000 people visiting the festival annually, the Vryfees is one of the biggest arts festivals in South Africa.
