Stupid Cupid – Valentine is Such a Drag

Stupid Cupid, featuring The Family Players and Statik, is a comical lip-synching drag show that looks at the ups and downs of love. It is every ‘girls’ dream to have a hot date for Valentine’s and WOW did these girls find some. Hip-hop love is not for the weak and insecure. It celebrates desire, bliss and the high of new beginnings, the lows of rejection, betrayal and loss, as well as the promise and joy of true commitment. Warning: this is not for the die-hard romantic who thinks all relationships come up smelling of roses. Bring picnics, or meat for the braai. There’s a bar, so no alcohol may be brought on to the premises.

When: Fri 14 Feb at 8pm, Sat 15 Feb at 8pm, Sun 16 Feb at 2pm & 6.30pm

Where: Rhumbelow Theatre, Durban

Cost: R120, or R100 for pensioners and tables of 8 or more

Ticket: Computicket

Info: www.rhumbelow.za.net/currentshows.html
