Feast of the Grape
Itching for grape amusement? Kick off your shoes for some squishing and splatting at the Durbanville Wine Valley’s Feast of the Grape, a weekend of harvest fun hosted by 12 wine farms in the area. The festival takes place at the picturesque D’Aria Winery, surrounded by vineyards and nature, with plenty of seasonal wines to sip.

Avianto Lifestyle Estate Family Fun Day
Bring your whole family to Avianto Estate Clubhouse and Sports Park for action-packed entertainment. For the kids, there’s a fun run, a mountain-bike race, face painting, cupcake decorating, fishing (bring your own rod), Wizards Jumping Castles, swimming and a range of Playball activities. For the adults, there will be wine tasting, a full bar and a wide range of food stalls available on a cash basis. If you feel like spoiling yourselves, you can pre-order a picnic and relax along the banks of the Crocodile River. (Bring a blanket.)

Klitgras Drumming’s Chillin’ Sunday
Relax under the stretch canvas or bring your own camping chairs, blankets and gazebos to this outdoor acoustic-music event. Picnic baskets, wood-fired pizzas and a fully stocked bar will keep you sated. This is a family affair and pets are welcome, provided they are kept on leashes so as not to disturb the birdlife. The line-up includes The Emile Swiegers Band, Bertus van Zyl, Wiam Otto, Ga-Gorib and Azurdee & The Blue River Band
