1. Mother’s Day Concert at the Zoo

Head to Joburg Zoo for a spectacular Mother’s Day concert among the animals. Bring your picnic goodies with you and enjoy live music, animal tours and kiddies’ entertainment the whole day long. Entrance fees are as follows: adults R81; kids (5 to 12) R51 and pensioners R51. Children under five enter free.

2. Mother’s Day High Tea

Treat your mom and her best gal pals to high tea at The Wanderers Club’s SilvaSale restaurant. Imagine a picture-perfect afternoon in the gardens fit for a queen. 4. Theatre classics
