1. Frame it
Use a shadow box to create a mini memento of your travel memories. Mount key chains, magnets, or coins using double-sided foam tape (cut off any chains first). Create about three of these frames with a variety of items in each, or keep it simple and place a postcard or piece of a map in one or two of them.
2. Get in touch with your inner postal
If postcards is something you like to collect while travelling, then give them a proper display area once you’re back home with a scalloped clip frame. You can also attach other small items like museum tickets or any written memorabilia.
3. Collect creatively
If the items you collect are a little more bulky, then get a large apothecary jar to store travel keepsakes such as corks, matchbooks or even a whole collection of things.
4. File it up
Clear out some space in your shelves and cubby holes at home to place a few larger items that deserve to stand in their own space like a snow globe or other breakable items.
5. Keep it together
Gather mini mementos in magnetic tins, then stick them on the fridge so you can enjoy a selection of memories every time you’re in the kitchen.
