1. A sanitising hand cream

Hand sanitisers are great for keeping germs at bay, but they can be drying because of their alcohol content. Instead, opt for a hand cream that has purifying properties to keep your hands clean while also giving them some much-needed moisture.

2. A tinted lip balm

Not every day is a lipstick day, and it doesn’t have to be, especially when you have a great tinted lip balm. It adds a sheer pop of colour while also keeping lips nourished – exactly how we like ’em!

3. A setting-powder compact

The daily runaround can make applying makeup in the mornings tough and can also make you break a sweat. This is where translucent powder can help: it can instantly combat shine and give the illusion that you are wearing makeup by slightly mattifying skin.

4. A lip and cheek stain

The best kind of beauty products are ones that are multitaskers, as this means less things taking up space in your bag. Lip and cheek stains are great because they are easy to use and give a natural, just-bitten finish and a healthy glow.

5. A travel-sized perfume

Life can be unpredictable, which means you don’t always know where each day will take you. That’s why it’s good to carry a travel-sized version of your favourite perfume in your handbag – because you never know when you’ll need a touchup.

6. A light sunscreen mist

Sunscreen is a skincare essential, and ones with a fine, invisible mist can be used over light makeup for SPF touchups throughout the day. When you are going bare-faced, apply more liberally to make sure your skin is protected.
