Make sure you’re not guilty of these common mistakes when it comes to your hair:

1. You’re brushing your hair while it’s still wet

Wet hair is much weaker than dry hair, so it’s best to use a wide-tooth comb while in the shower or when you get out.

2. You say ‘no’ to haircuts

The average head of hair needs a cut every three months. By the time you notice split ends, your hair is in pretty bad shape.

3. You don’t deep condition

Just 
as skin benefits from a weekly mask, so does your hair – especially if it’s on the dry side.

4. You towel-dry your hair

Squeeze hair instead of drying it with a towel, as this damages the cuticles and leads to frizz.

5. You skip heat-protectant products

Using a product to protect your hair prevents scalding and drying, plus you’re less likely to have frizz.

6. You haven’t changed your shampoo and conditioner in years

Ideally, having a couple of options for when your hair is in different states (for example, dry or lank) will help keep it looking its best.
