1. The key to success is a steady hand. Lean the elbow of your writing hand on a counter to eliminate the shakes, tilt your chin upwards and lower your lids so you can still see what you’re doing in the mirror.
2. With your free hand, pull the skin around the outer corner of your eye gently outwards to keep it taut.
3. Start at the inner corner of your eye and, using short strokes, draw a line outwards along the top lashes. Extend the line a little past the outer corner of your eye to give it a slight lift.
4. Go back to fill in the gaps, and then finish off with a fine line along the bottom lashes.
5. Repeat the process with the other eye.
Damage Control!
If you make a mistake, steer clear of eye-makeup remover, which will only worsen the mess. Instead, dip an ear bud in a blob of moisturiser and gently dab at the spot.
