How to make paper pinwheels

These pretty pinwheels are fun to make and pretty to look at!

By Good Housekeeping

You will need:

Patterned craft paper

Scissors

Glue stick

Craft glue

Button

How to:

  1. Cut brightly coloured paper into two strips of equal length and width. (The wider the strips, the bigger you pinwheel will be.)
  2. Fold each strip in a concertina fashion.
  3. Stick one end of the strip to the other to form a long concertina.
  4. Once glue is stuck, bring the ends of your concertina strip together, pressing out to form a disc shape.
  5. Using a strong adhesive, glue a button into the centre of the pinwheel to keep it joined.
  6. Press lightly to secure.

Top tip: Make mini pinwheels to use as gift-wrapping decorations.
