One of our favourite celebrity couples, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, have issued a statement saying that they are seeking a divorce. The couple celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary on Monday.
In a joint statement to People magazine, the couple said, ‘After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce. We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time. This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.’
The couple, who live in Los Angeles, have three children: Violet, 9; Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
The first met when they co-starred in the 2001 movie Pearl Harbor. They reconnected again when they made the 2003 film Daredevil and started dating soon after that.
