Netflix’s first African original series, Queen Sono, premiered last night, and celebrities came out in droves to celebrate with the cast and crew.
Starring Pearl Thusi, the series follows Queen Sono, a highly trained spy in a South African agency taking on her most dangerous mission yet while facing changing relationships in her personal life and uncovering the truth about her mother’s past. The show has only just started streaming, but it’s set to be a hit, according to early reviews.
