Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped out on Thursday morning (7 November) to visit the 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey ahead of Remembrance Sunday.

Harry and Meghan will view the plots of small crosses that have been erected by regiments, the military, and other organisations with links to the the First World War and other conflicts.
This is Meghan’s first time paying her respects at the annual event, although Prince Harry has attended on behalf of the royal family since 2013.

This is the 91st Field of Remembrance, which has been organised by the Poppy Factory since 1928 and always opens on the Thursday before Remembrance Sunday. The Poppy Factory, based in London, creates the Remembrance poppies each year.
Meghan chose a dark blue ensemble for the occasion, worn with a matching velvet hat complete with navy lace detailing.
She and Harry will also attend the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday (9 November), alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The royals will also attend the Remembrance Day service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall on Sunday (10 November).
