The shade of summer!

At the end of each year, the experts at Pantone name the Colour of the Year for the following one. Last week they made the big announcement of the shade they think is going to dominate 2019, and it’s a bold, bright and happy one – say hello to ‘Living Coral’, catalogue name 16-1546.

Coral is a colour that is already quite popular among makeup users. For those who don’t generally wear it, perhaps 2019 is the year to start experimenting with this cheerful shade. It’s incredibly versatile and can be worn as blusher, eyeshadow, highlighter and lipstick, and helps to give skin a warm glow. It also flatters almost every skin tone, from fair to dark, and will instantly put you in a summery mood.
