Prince Harry is, like, the cutest royal ever, and now he’s an even cuter royal dad. This morning, he and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child together, and he announced the birth to press in a video that is so sweet you won’t be able to contain yourself.
Here’s what he said:

“I’m very excited to announce that Meghan and myself had a baby boy this morning, a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I can ever have possibly imagined. How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we’re both absolutely thrilled and so grateful for all the love and support of everybody out there. It’s been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody.”
SO CUTE. HE’S SO CUTE. But also, props to Meghan who literally birthed a child this a.m. Can’t let Harry get all the praise, obviosly. The reporters asked him if they were thinking about names yet, and here’s what he said.
“We’re still thinking about names. The baby’s a little bit overdue, so we’ve had a little bit of time to think about it, but that’s the next bit. For now, it looks like we’ll be seeing you guys in two days time, as planned, as a family, to be able to share it with you guys so everyone can see the baby.”
Okay, so it looks like there will be some sort of photoshoot situation happening in two days, in case you want to mark your calendars. Also, there’s this adorable nugget that he ended with:
“I haven’t been at many births, this is definitely my first birth, but it was amazing. Absolutely incredible. As I said, I’m incredibly proud of my wife, and as every father and parent would ever say, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to die for, so I’m just over the moon.”
