Facial mists allow you to spritz extra ingredients onto your skin that can make you look and feel better in the long term. In the short term, they can just make you feel refreshed and look more energised, especially on a warm summer’s day. Many of us work in an air-conditioned office, and air-con sucks moisture out of the air and can leave skin feeling parched. Having a bottle of facial mist at your disposal can help take care of that.

Facial mists aren’t just for people with dehydrated skin – there are plenty of facial mists that target anything from dry to dull to acne-prone skin. They can either be applied as you would a toner, where you spray some onto a cotton pad and swipe over the face and neck, or you can spritz it on and allow it to air-dry on the skin. This can be done in the morning and evenings after cleansing and before moisturising, as well as throughout the course of the day whenever you and your skin need a pick-me-up.
And just in case you don’t know where to start, here are five of our favourites. Which one will you add to your beauty arsenal?
