Leah Hawker Unveils the Stigma Around Breastfeeding at The President Hotel
South African specialist photographer, Leah Hawker, to present her latest conceptual series of work, whilst hosting a refined high tea in celebration of all women this Women’s Day. On Friday, 9 August from 11 am to 1:30 pm guests are invited to experience and discuss the unveiling of Leah’s controversial photographs and recently launched book, Breastfeeding 101, bringing women’s issues, identity and modern day gender roles to light.

On 9 August, Carnival City is hosting a Women’s Day event themed ‘Wear your crown ladies – you deserve it’ with Vanessa Govender, journalist and author of Beaten But Not Broken, as the motivational speaker. JHB Secret Sunrise
Secret Sunrise is having a Women’s Day event on 9 August at the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff. Welcome the day by dancing to the music blaring in your headphones, followed by breakfast. Ladies’ Night Soiree
Bourbon & Bloom wants you to bring your highest heels and heaps of sass for an all-exclusive ladies’ night on 9 August from 6.30pm. The ‘soiree’ will feature live music and a fun guest speaker. Women’s Day High Tea

Women’s Day Yoga
