Nobilified: The ultimate unique gift for the person who has everything

We bet your friend/colleague/boss doesn’t have *this* yet
Nobilified

Earlier this year, Google’s Arts & Culture App, which allows users to match their selfie to artworks in the app’s database, went viral on both iOS and Android. What could be better than finding your doppelgänger in a famous painting? Well, Nobilified sure took things up a notch. This US-based online service creates hand-painted oil portraits of customers as royalty. As they say on their site: ‘Inserting your face into a famous painting has never been easier!’

Pin this article for later! For more, follow Good Housekeeping on Pinterest.

Their user-friendly service is broken down into four easy steps: 1) upload your photo, 2) choose a painting from their regularly updated list, 3) add extra features (like a photo of your pet) if you like, and 4) choose your canvas size before you check out. The rest is up to the company’s specially trained artists. They offer free shipping worldwide, and paintings (on canvas – framed portraits are still limited to the US only) take just a few days to be completed.

Though these oil masterpieces are on the pricey side (starting at $180 – about R2 160), you must admit they’d make memorable gifts. Plus, we bet this is one thing your has-it-all friend or family member doesn’t already own! Follow Nobilified on Instagram for ideas and visit nobilified.com to commission your masterpiece today.

From us ordinary folk to celebs and even our furry friends, anyone can be ‘nobilified’…
